Buy Samsung BP-1600 from Best Buy two weeks ago. Same price as Amazon and saved me the wait for shipping. So far so good. Play both Blu-ray and regular DVD movies. Upload time varies from several seconds to 10 seconds, maybe.
Read a review of many complain about the firmware upgrade that allows the player is not working properly. Well, my update this morning and have no problem. Powerline adapter I used the device on the Internet using an Ethernet cable. The download process took about 15 minutes and the whole process could update 20 minutes. I tried both Blu-ray and regular DVD and then had no functional problem with the player.
Join for Netflix immediately and now I am a movie directly to your TV via BP-1600. Good image quality.
The only drawback I've experienced so far is the synchronization of my remote control and the blu-ray remote, both from Samsung. Not sure, since my Fios TV DVR. Verizon tech programs on the DVR remote so that both my TV and DVR controls. But not a big problem for me, I use two different remote control when I play my BP-1600 and TV.
